Open Fields are currently on pause during the academic year.

The next open fields will take place in December 2024, and we hope to see you there!

Our first initiative as a club has been to provide our community with accessible, friendly, and competitive open field sessions throughout the summer of 2024.

The first Sammamish FC Open Field took place on July 5th.

The club hosted our open field sessions every Thursday from 7-9PM at Eastlake High School throughout the summer. Our sessions consist of fast paced, small-sided matches.

Whether you are a college or club player looking to get in some extra reps, you are a former player looking to get back into the beautiful game, or you are just picking up soccer for the first time and want a friendly environment to come break a sweat with your neighbors: feel free to come join us for the evening!

We believe that all soccer players, of any age or level, deserve consistent access to small-sided matches where they are permitted to play with freedom and express themselves on the pitch. Free-flowing small-sided games cultivate spontaneity, creativity, and a deep love for the sport. They allow for everyone to get an adequate number of touches on the ball, and often find themselves in moments where they are required and encouraged to be brave and perform decisive actions.

From the banlieues of Paris to the favelas of Brazil, these environments have produced and nurtured the most naturally gifted players in the history of the game. That is why we are eager to continue to provide our community with free, open-to-play, small-sided matches as often as we can.

Thank you all for the unbelievable turnout and support for this initiative. It is the first step in building our club, and has provided an incredible platform to work with. Stay tuned!
